Aftonbladet hänvisar idag till en artikel som E24 har om Elton John. Båda dessa media hänvisar dock i sin tur till engelska The Sun. Det är i den tidningen Elton John uttalat sig om internet. Efter att ha läst texten hos E24 anade jag att de troligen inte skrivit hela sanningen, utan att de istället missförstått/vinklat texten för att göra den mer kontroversiell. Mina misstankar visade sig vara alldeles rätt. Läser man The Suns artikel är det väldigt svårt att komma fram till samma slutsats som svenska E24 gjort.

Jag vet inte om Elton John och jag har så mycket annat gemensamt men i det här fallet är jag helt på hans sida. Internet är jättebra på många sätt, men de som inte ser risken med att människor slutar kommunicerar ansikte mot ansikte bör nog tänka en gång till.
  Aftonbladet och E24 lär inte göra det, men de borde fundera på om man inte ska försöka vara lite mer korrekt när man citerar en intervju och gör en ny artikel på den ...
